Secret Hackathon

Following the achievement of milestone 3 of 3 (running CosmWasm in secure enclaves with encryption), Enigma’s dev team has been focused on testing secret contract functionality and getting ready for the Secret Games. Our team did a hackathon this week, and we learned a lot in the process. Check out this poker game created by @assafmo:

Building Secret Foundation

Led by Executive Director Tor Bair, Enigma CEO Guy Zyskind, and Iqlusion Cofounder Zaki Manian, Secret Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to advancing privacy as a human right and a public good. Essentially, the goal is to empower humanity by providing necessary tools, education, and support in order to promote data dignity through civic engagement. As an organization, Secret Foundation is intended to provide a neutral ground to facilitate coordination of Secret Network participants, and in order to be sustainable, the Foundation may receive a percentage of inflation as funding.

MathWallet Supports Secret Network

MathWallet now supports Secret Network and staking SCRT! Learn how to use the MathWallet app or browser extension to create a Secret wallet, transfer Secrets, and earn rewards by staking or delegating SCRT to the validator of your choice.

Let the Secret Games Begin!

During the upcoming incentivized testnet, node operators, developers, and other community members will earn rewards (up to 1% of total supply) for successfully completing secret missions. The Secret Games are intended to help with testing encrypted computations running on Secret Network. Read the article below for details about the proposed structure, rewards, and timelines.

Phase 1 (beginning July 20) is invite-only. However, Phase 2 will be more open.

Next meeting: 2020-07-15T15:00:00Z

During the governance discussion earlier this week, our main agenda item was Proposal 16: Changes to Inflation Rate and Community Fee, but nobody on the call had any comments or questions. We also talked about improving our documentation, getting more involved in the Cosmos ecosystem, and collectively defining Secret Foundation committees. All future meeting notes will be available in the Secret Foundation Wiki. Your contributions are much appreciated!

Everyone is welcome to share any thoughts in our weekly calls. Your feedback is extremely valuable to Secret Network, and Enigma’s core team is grateful for your contributions! We hope other members of the community respond and create posts like this one to share additional updates. Transparent collaboration and cooperation facilitate coordination around shared goals.
