In my opinion since Microsoft is getting ready to buy Discord, you should abandon Discord as a chatroom. Microsoft bought GitHub and then caved to a DMCA takedown request to remove the youtube-dl open source project. This is censorship. Censorship is genocide.
Perhaps Telegram - or appeal the the FCC to block the acquisition of Discord by Microsoft.
