Asset Naming Guidelines

Hey everyone,

To ensure consistency and avoid confusion across Secret Network dApps, SCRTLabs and SNF have established new asset naming guidelines. These guidelines help differentiate between asset types, bridge providers, and native versus bridged assets, making it easier for users to understand and manage their assets.

Key Points:

  • ā€œsā€ prefix for secret SCRT (sSCRT).
  • IBC native assets keep original names (e.g., OSMO).
  • Bridged assets get suffixes for different bridge providers (e.g., Axelar ā†’ .axl).
  • Canonical assets from Cosmos Ecosystem have no suffix (e.g., USDT by Kava).
  • Native SNIP-20 to SNIP-2X assets have no prefixes or suffixes.

For more details, check the guidelines.

Best,

Alex | SNF | Secret Saturn
