My assertion is that the inordinate funding of committees not responsible for building dapps or onboarding those who do has contributed to a shortage of dapps and dapp builders.
Itās a microcosm of the Soviet Unionās 5-year plans for steel production that undeniably worked but at the expense of advancements in agriculture.

I agree with you when looking at it from a political standpoint, but maybe itās worth separating politics from business. Secret Network is extremely small right now, the documentation is horrible and the UX is extremely bad. Before we can discuss defunding support, I think that all of this needs to be solved. In the long run youāre absolutely right in my opinion, every dApp should have their own support and it shouldnāt all be on the back of the Secret Network community.
Right now, however, weāre in a growth state, we barely have any useful dApps and we donāt have enough users that we can afford to not fund a centralized support team. Itās not about politics, itās not about communism vs free marketsā¦ itās about business strategy.
The issue I have isnāt that the community is subsidizing dapps.
Instead, itās that the community is disincentivizing contributions to dapps by providing better opportunities in the form of committee lead positions that are immune to changes in demand.
The expected end result is that we have no dapps and only committee leads. Not great.
