Proposal to Adjust Secret Foundation Tax to 0%

How about we focus on what we DO know for sure?

One of the things we know is that Guy, in a post prior to Tor’s post (Guy’s 6762 vs Tor’s 6764), suggested that the Foundation returns the funds to the community. I don’t see any reason to disagree with Guy’s suggestion.

I also see no reason why “Sweeping calls for funds to be “returned to the community” are not practical or detailed, and they are potentially destructive and damaging to Secret Network.” What further detail is needed? Why would that be destructive or damaging? It clearly seems more damaging to the ecosystem to leave the funds in the Foundation. If not for the funds themselves, if only for the trust/reputation damage and sketchy/unclear situation regarding the past, the present and (possibly) the future of the Foundation.

The fact that not everything is known at this time (it might never be) doesn’t detract from the fact that there is a bad smell in all of this. And if it smells like a duck… that’s all the market needs to know.

Unless reasonable explanations to a LOT of things come forward. Which doesn’t look like it will happen, because if they were possible they would have seen the light of the day already.

There should be two proposals brought forward. One to 0% the Foundation’s tax, another to request funds to be returned.
