We have discussed in the past about having a more consistent set of rules for community funded efforts. Following up on this topic, I’d like to propose a payment per milestone approach become mandatory for all community funded proposals. These milestones could then be verified by a third party (e.g Foundation, Enigma) and help increase confidence on the project being delivered.
For any project it will always be easy to come up with a set of milestones regardless of the SDLC followed. It’s 101 project planning and feels like the least we could do.
