Currently called a “Principal Data Engineer”, but who knows what that means any more. Got about 20+ years now with SQL doing FinServInd stuff, and various other things. Almost full stack, not quite yet.
The RPN logo/alias came while closing down banks for the FDIC during the 2007/2008 financial crisis. They were using Microsoft Access to roll up the G/Ls. It could be done with a pretty simple Smart Contract, tbh (I think , still learning this tech). Databases, finance, cryptography (I was a sysadmin before doing DB stuff), kinda crazy it took me this long to realize they’d all been rolled into one.
Took about seven years on the fringes before really digging into that crypto rabbit hole, but I’ve made it this far…which is pretty deep, I think.
